31st Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications
http://www.idt.mdh.se/euromicro-2005
The Euromicro SEAA Conference brings together people from business, industry, research, and academia who are working in information technology in its various aspects. Over the years, EUROMICRO SEAA conferences have reflected and represented the dramatic changes in technology and application areas. The aim of the Conference is to proceed with this, focusing on software engineering and new, innovative and advanced software applications.
8th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design
http://dsd2005.univ-rennes1.fr
The Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design addresses all aspects of (embedded) digital and mixed hardware/software system engineering. It is a discussion forum for researchers and engineers working on state-of-the-art investigations, development, and applications. It focuses on advanced system, design, and design automation concepts, paradigms, methods and tools, as well as, modern implementation technologies that enable effective and efficient development of high-quality (embedded) systems for important and demanding applications in fields such as (wireless) communication and networking; measurement and instrumentation; health-care and medicine; military, space, avionic and automotive systems; security; multi-media and ambient intelligence.
The DSD2005 Tutorial Day on Embedded SoC Design will take place on the 30th August, 2005.
ERCIM Workshop on Dependable Software Intensive Embedded systems
http://www.itk.ntnu.no/misc/ercim/
Co-located with Euromicro2005 conferences, this workshop will take place and will be organised such as to include time to attend keynote speaks given in the SEAA and DSD conferences.
So called embedded systems are by many regarded as the most important computer application field in the years to come, and a business driver for European industry. Today, far more than 90% of processors are part of embedded systems and not visible as computers. Our everyday life is already "embedded" in a network of hidden computers, and comfort as well as safety and security rely very much on theses. So dependability in a holistic manner becomes an important issue. Technology is developing very fast, and demanding challenges have to be met by research and engineering.
For more information please refer to the workshop Web site.
